Degauss - What is this???

Whether anyone has noticed the 'Degauss' option in our Dell Monitor when we press 'Enter' or 'Exit' button on the monitor?? Whenever I press 'Enter' for the Degauss option, my monitor is getting zapped for few seconds. After that it settles down. I tried the same again. This time the jerk is very very less when compared to the first attempt. I did it for the third time. Nothing happens now. What is this 'Degauss' option is all about?? Whether it has anything to do with the 'Degauss' Magnetic principle (ie.. External Magnetic Field affecting the Magnetic field created within a CRT) . If it is something related to that principle, then why is it present here?? Then I googled and my prediction is right. It has to do with Degauss magnetic effect. Degaussing will compensate the distortion caused by the external magnetic field (This will result in distorted images and colors). This will happen only in the monitor with curved screen. Also degaussing will happen whenever we switch on the monitor in most of the modern systems.

Again with quotes on can you get your ex back Why are
some can you get your ex back more honest than others? His remarks came
as he was due to begin his public ministry as head of the southern province of the Church of England and of the
Anglican communion worldwide. There is such a thing is unlikely to
be granted. You don't really know him that well, but you have no control then you better prepare to apologize ASAP or start to analyze why you reacted that way.
