Incident : At Madras 1983. Gavaskar had decided to relinquish his opening position and come in at no 4 for that test. But, Malcolm Marshall fired out Anshuman Gaekwad and Dilip Vengsarkar for ducks, setting the stage for Gavaskar to walk in at 0/2. And he thought there would be less pressure!

Incident : When Sachin was invited for the 90th birthday of Sir Donald Bradman, Sachin put forward a question to Sir Don, "How much will you score if you were playing now?". For that Sir Don replied "If I were playing now, I would have averaged around 70". Sachin asked "Why so less? Whether modern cricket is tougher than the 1930s". For that Sir Gary answered "For Great Batsman, there is no good ball"
